Covid 19 safety measures.

This guidance is published to comply with the safety requirements of current regulations, it is provided here on our website for your information prior to your visit to Cask and Tap, further notices will be available on your visit.

Covid 19 is a deadly and dangerous virus, contrary to many social media conspiracy theorists it does exist, if you are in “Covid denial” and refuse to comply with the safety requirements you will be refused service.  Together we can provide a safe enjoyable visit to Cask and Tap both for you the customer and any staff on duty, please stay safe.

On arrival you should be wearing a face mask, you will be met at the door waiting area where you will find hand sanitiser and information stating that you should not enter if unwell or showing any of the usual Covid symptoms, shortness of breath/new persistent cough/lack of taste or smell/high temperature/headache/sore throat/nausea/vomiting or diarrhoea. Track and Trace is now mandatory, we have the NHS OCR thingymebob to scan if you can or we have the simple paper system, both are acceptable.

You will be led to a suitable prepared table with adequate seating for your party of no more than six persons under current Government guidance (updates as required).

Once seated you will be given a briefing by the staff, this will include: remain seated unless visiting the bar/toilet, do not move furniture, supervise your children at all times, maintaining social distancing as marked on the floor tapes, track and trace, please do not return glasses to the bar as the staff will collect.

Card payment is preferred but hand sanitiser will be available on the bar as well as at the toilets etc.

We are allowing visits to the bar (floor tape marking limits of access) for you to peruse the cask offerings only, it must be table service and masks are mandatory whenever you are not seated.

This guidance is published to comply with the safety requirements of current regulations, it is provided here on our website for your information prior to your visit to Cask and Tap, further up to minute notices will be available on your visit with website updated as soon as possible.
